Shipping Policy

Free Shipping
Machines
Most domestic machine purchases do qualify for free shipping and will be shipped immediately following funds confirmation. Industrial machines1 will be billed after the purchase of your machine when your machine is ready for shipping, a payment request will be sent for freight before the machine is released. 
Exceptions
Products described below are excluded from All About Sewing's Free Shipping Program unless otherwise advertised on the promotions tab or the individual product page.
-Furniture
-Quilting frames
-Items that exceed 36", assembled and/or in packaging, on any side.


Please consider statutory holidays in your shipping times as these are considered non-shipping days by the postal service. Your order will be shipped as quickly as possible.

At All About Sewing our goal is to offer you the best shipping options, as sometimes you cannot get out of the house. Every day, we deliver to customers across North America, ensuring that we provide the very highest levels of responsiveness to you at all times.

The time frame for order delivery is divided into two parts:

  • Processing time: Order verification, tailoring, quality check and packaging. All orders are picked and sent to the shipping department for dispatch within 1-2 business days after the order is placed. Processing time varies on availability of product, this could take upwards of 5 business days
  • Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped from our warehouse to the destination. After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually take between 2 and 14 business days to arrive at their destination but can take longer from time to time.  You will be provided with a tracking number so you may follow your package.
*****Please note*****: If you choose lettermail shipping, your item will be shipped without tracking. If you choose this shipping option, we also do not take responsibility for anything that arrives damaged or becomes lost. We offer this option for anything that can fit in an oversized envelope such as parts or presser feet.   *If you feel like the item you want to purchace qualifies for lettermail, please contact the store*

RETURN POLICY:

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason please e-mail
*DO NOT SHIP BACK RETURNS WITHOUT CONFIRMATION FROM THE STORE*

Our products may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of original purchase, provided the product is unopened and in "like-new" condition*. Any shipping on returns will be paid by the buyer unless a mistake by All About Sewing has occurred (we shipped the wrong product, confirmed machine compatibility etc.), then AAS will provide a shipping label. The returned goods must include a copy of the original receipt, your email address, shipping address, return approval and phone number. If you send back an item for a return without confirmation from the store first, you will be solely responsible for shipping, even under store error. 

Items that are not eligible for return are:

  • Cut material 
  • Patterns
  • Books
  • Sewing Machine Feet
  • Electronic Parts
  • Special Orders
  • Floor Models

Items that are eligible for return by manager approval only:

  • Sewing Machines(opened, 20% restocking fee)
  • Machine Parts(unused, in packaging)

To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:

  •        E-mail the store to let us know you would like an exchange/return
  •        Wait for a confirmation e-mail from the store regarding further instructions for your return
  •        Send all items back with a copy of your return request approval, copy of the original receipt, your email address, shipping address, and phone number

Additional Information:

  •          Refunds will be processed after item has been received and processed by one of our team members
  •          20% restocking fee will apply to any opened or used products
  •          Any items missing pieces or showing damage will have the full retail cost deducted from the credit
  •          Refunds can be store credit, original payment method or credit towards exchange

When checking out, agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, indicates that you understand and have read the policy. All About Sewing reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.

Inventory
We carry a large variety of product and do our best to ensure our inventory is up to date and accurate. We do offer a selection of items that are not in stock at our store, as this is also our online catalog. These items are marked and may be required to order from our warehouses.  Only items that are available for purchase from our warehouse partners are available.  If you happen to choose a product that is a special order item, we will order it within 48 hours to ensure there is not a lengthy delivery time. This can create a delay of 2-3 weeks.  

PRICE GUARANTEE:

If your product goes on sale within 10 days of purchase, we will issue you a store credit for the difference. Exceptions apply ie. Floor model, Anniversary sale, Boxing Day or Black Friday Event.
